Art, Heart and Legacy: Inaugural Unframed 30A Raises Nearly $5,000 for Hope Lodge and Local Arts

Art, Heart and Legacy: Inaugural Unframed 30A Raises Nearly $5,000 for Hope Lodge and Local Arts

On Thursday, June 5, Corcoran Reverie, in collaboration with Justin Gaffrey Gallery and the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County, hosted the inaugural Unframed 30A: An Evening of Art & Impact at the stunning 264 Grace Point Way. The architecturally beautiful home, currently listed by Corcoran Reverie, provided the perfect backdrop for a night dedicated to art, community, and philanthropy. More than 100 guests, including art lovers, creatives, and community leaders, gathered to celebrate the arts and raise funds for two worthy causes: the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge in Birmingham and the Cultural Arts Alliance. Unframed 30A was created to honor the legacy of Lesly Simon, a beloved advocate for the arts whose passion for creativity and community continues to inspire.

“As we gathered to celebrate art and honor Lesly, the evening became a powerful reflection of her legacy,” said Hilary Farnum-Fasth, founder and owner of Corcoran Reverie. “Lesly believed in art’s ability to connect and inspire, and Unframed 30A is a continuation of that belief — one we’re proud to carry forward every year.”

The event, presented by Sun, Surf and Sand Insurance, featured over 10 local and regional artists, showcasing a variety of works that captivated the attendees. From gallery-style installations to live music and artisan cocktails, the evening was a celebration of creativity, community, and purpose. Coastal-inspired fare added to the ambiance, making the night unforgettable.

Marla Hanner, Partner at Corcoran Reverie, reflected on the significance of the venue, saying, “Grace Point was the perfect backdrop for a night rooted in meaning. The home at 264 Grace Point Way reflects the kind of thoughtfulness and warmth we felt throughout the evening – it welcomed guests the way Lesly always did: with beauty, openness, and intention.”

A highlight of the evening was the raffle, which featured three stunning original art pieces generously donated by renowned sculptor Justin Gaffrey, Cultural Arts Alliance artist Chris Chubb, and 6-year-old Petite VIP artist Sebastian Thor. These works symbolized the creative spirit that Unframed 30A seeks to uplift, and the proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Hope Lodge and Cultural Arts Alliance. The funds raised at Unframed 30A will go directly to supporting Hope Lodge, which provided invaluable comfort to Lesly and her family during her breast cancer treatment, as well as to the Cultural Arts Alliance, which continues to support artists and arts education in Walton County through year-round programs.

This inaugural event was not just an evening of art – it was a testament to the power of community, creativity, and giving. By uniting art lovers, local artists, and philanthropists, Unframed 30A honored Lesly Simon’s enduring legacy and paved the way for future gatherings that will continue to inspire and uplift the arts community.
